Our story
From the diner in Philadelphia where musical talent went to be discovered, to the shores of Hervey Bay, Smokey Joes Café wants you to enjoy delightful food and remember a great experience.

I’m staying at the Ramada and decided to try their food one lazy evening (I don’t usually go for hotel food). The seafood paella was exceptionally delicious. At $30, it is a generous serving stuffed full of mussels, large prawns, calamari, fish, chorizo and had half a bug. The rice is cooked to perfection. Overall, it’s one of the best paella’s I’ve had in Australia and I returned for another one 2 nights later! Next step would be to try the seafood platter or the seafood hot pot!
